On Freedom Day, FotoZA Gallery will be hosting a unique concert to pay homage to one of South Africa’s world acclaimed photographers, Dr. Peter Magubane.

The newly established La Africa opera company will perform a variety concert of well known opera arias, as well as proudly South African anthems such as Mama Thembu’s wedding, Phata Phata and Meadowlands.

La Africa is led by Buchanan Marais and features upcoming opera singers and orchestral instrumentalists. It is a modern orchestra that aims to present the classics in cutting edge style with fresh orchestration that breathes new life into the old favourites while also performing new numbers.

This is a gala evening not to be missed!
